星日帶團去了珀麗灣, 其實即是馬灣, 我十幾年前去過, 當時還未有青馬大橋, 只有未完成的橋墩, 馬灣是一個荒蕪的島, 還記得在現時的珀麗灣對出的沙灘, 隨手可以拾到白色的珊瑚, 外公更拿回家做盆栽裝飾. 不諱言, 我是極度討厭珀麗灣, 不過是愉景灣的低級版, 討厭的不是這種建築模式 (仙人板板的你討厭都沒有用) 而是這種不斷入侵的潮流, 將所有地方都變成可以用錢就買到的私人花園. 注意, 馬灣公園, 恕我偏僻說一句, 真的為了什麼狗屎保育嗎? 去你娘的不過是想將一個"沒有特別"的野外地方, 變成珀麗灣住客眼皮底下的一個私人花園. 不過是新x基與政府deal時的一個協議, 你不留意還懶得建. 馬灣是什麼? 有半個地方是新x基的, 你走的路其實都可算是半私人地方, 如果可以, 我想有些住客還巴不得在附近立個牌: 非住戶不得內進. 馬灣可是有汽車管制的, 這真的是什麼環保理由嗎? 環保的不如不要在這建民居啦笨,. heyheyhey, 有誰care這個曾經挖掘出香港早期歷史的歷史遺蹟? 有誰會關心這個project對馬灣歷史有多大影響, 難到你看到因為建築計劃, 所以遺址要加緊挖掘 (上個世紀的事) 的新聞, 你不會想笑嗎?
我笑了, 因為坐在沙灘上的我看到有漂亮的比堅尼女郎走過, 總比什麼碗窯吸引啦.

I live at Park Island, but i also agree with your observations in general.
However, I still like to live there as it provides a better and healthier environment for my baby to grow up, as she could wandering and running around at will... and the Ma Wan Park provides at least a "semi-natural" (although artificial) environment for her.
Don't get me wrong, i think your observation is insightful! :)

Objectively, some people like quiet, some people like noisy city life.
Everything has pros and cons, I live in Mid Level for years and spent a lot for housing (Robinson Road), but the area is not definitely providing the value of money.
Yes, it is a bit far away, and cannot drive inside, but less polluted and more space. Will consider move in!
